WHY A CCEI?
The cultural and creative enterprises provide a serious contribution to the economy and added values for communities. Yet, many countries lack a set of policies and measures aimed to effectively address the specificities of cultural and creative entrepreneurs.
Cultural and creative entrepreneurs and policy makers are the CCEI's first recipients. They are the primary actors holding the capacity and potential to contribute to the cultural and creative enterprises' thrive.
The Index is based on a crowd sourcing database, which is lively updated thanks to its pool of contributors. Via its analysis of quantitative data, it measures the pulse of the creative and cultural business.
The CCEI aims to raise awareness of cultural and creative enterprises' role in society towards the formulation of positive and impactful strategies for the development of cultural and creative entrepreneurship.
